maps of LDMA claims 18695 13
Started by mr_billwej@yahoo.com
Are there any maps of the LDMA claims If yes, where can I obtain copies, if no, Why NOT I am a life member and I noticed that the LDMA handbook only has locations, but no site maps of the claims. I would also like to see the LDMA acquire more claims in the Southern Gold Belt.
Any help will be appreciated,
Bill-

Gold Bug Pro 12389 8
Started by worldavi@gate.net
Just wondering if anyone that owns one of these ever had a problem as I did this weekend with mine. I was out in the fields Northern Nevada this weekend, battery was full, no power lines around anywhere and the machine just started going erratic, making a stuttering, spitting sound. Even after I shut it off and turned back on it just resumed acting crazy. It was doing this even with the coil off the ground 2 feet. So I quit using it, and about hour later I tried it again and it was fine. I can s...

puffer vs drywasher 3471 4
Started by TheRoamingRaven@gmail.com
This summer I am looking for a project for my grandchildren and me to build. I found the DIY vintage plans for a depression-era puffer. This looks fun to build. My question is how does it compare to an actual drywasher in gold recovery After we build the puffer, should I purchase a drywasher to show the kids what it is really supposed to do Thanks for the in-put.

Prospecting 4889 16
Started by donland1@aol.com
I'm looking for claim-friendly location(s) to test a new magnetometer system that I developed to map now-buried former stream courses by sensing and mapping black magnetite sand deposits close to stream locations historically known to have produced significant gold. Help with digging these potentially rewarding locations also wanted. My involvement would be totally at my expense. (TopoMag project.)

Im looking for the safest but most effective way to clean iron/rust staining off gold without damaging the gold surface or any quartz attached Also if it is worth doing so, or is it taking away too much of the natural look of the piece If anyone has any techniques or insight that they would be willing to share it would be greatly appreciated. Be Advised: USGOLDMAPS.COM 5543 18
Started by realbillmccoy@gmail.com
Just a friendly public service announcement regarding usgoldmaps.com They make claims maps for use with Google Earth. The product looks really nice but upon receipt I discovered that their data is static and from 2013. I reached out to the Contact Us email and the response was basically, don't worry about it. Claim data doesn't change very often. Uh... I call BS Asking for a refund. Wish me luck and buyer beware.
