I live in Folsom, I'm looking for anyone who is interested in joining me locally for an easy dig spot I came across the other day with my kids. I didn't weigh it however I got a nice smile in my pan after about six gallons of material ran. It is an easy 10 minuet hike to the water from free parking. I'm looking at January 10th, 23rd or 30th to meet up. Other times and places in the future.

Looking for like minded adventures. Im starting a small clan for people in the area that like to go out and do anything from gold panning to gem and mineral hunts to artifacts or even find that lost treasure. Let me know if your interested. Must have your own equipment and thats the only requirement. You keep what you find. We just go out make friends hike ,dig, find and have fun. So far there's 3 of us ladies in our late 30s to early 40s that live for adventure including off roading, jeeping...

Go out alone a lot to the claims in those areas and after a few encounters with bears it would be nice to have another set of eyes lol. I live in Calabasas so I can go to Ventura County or LA county. I have some equipment and am willing to go out for a day or two at a time during the weekends and sometimes during the week when I am off work. I am a freelance producer so I get weeks in between each new job so I'd love to find someone that knows more than me since I am new to this. But I am a former army medic so I'm not afraid of hard work.

Looking for experienced prospector/s in Virginia that would like to teach me alittle bit. I have a small dredge 1'1/2. Panning kit and 2 sluices. Purchased some paydirt off ebay to pan at home, went up to Contrary Creek last weekend with the dredge but come up with nothing. Granted I didn't stray far from the bridge and it hadn't rained in a couple months there so water was extremely low. Did talk with a father and son out there looking for garnets. Hey all! I’m looking to connect with others in the area. I’m in South New Jersey just outside Philly. I was lucky enough to do a trip to Nome which is where I got the bug. Last year I went to the Black Hills with intents of staking a claim. That didn’t go as planned :) but I still had a great time! I’m hoping to get back there this year. In the meantime I’d like to explore wherever I could drive for weekend trips.
