Just joined the GPAA and I am reading through some of the older posts and came across your post. I live in Newbury Park (Thousand Oaks). I will be attending my first GPAA meeting a week from Thursday where I hope to learn and meet others with the same interests. Hi Derick,

My name is Erick, I live in Venice Beach and it's nice to find local prospectors near me. I also belong to other prospecting groups like The San Fernando Valley Prospectors Club GPPAA and the Southern California Prospecting Club. Bothe Clubs go out on monthly club group outings and if you like to join us on one of the you are more then welcome to have fun with us. I also do a lot prospecting on my own and would like to others join me if you like. GPAA has a large claim by my cabin in Frazier Park the I go to all the time in the summer.
