Hi All, Having managed to blow out the bottom of a couple 1/2' classifiers for 5 gallon buckets I figured I would see how you all have gone about repairing them. To date I have tried a few methods: -Just pushed them back in place and been gentle with their use -Used a small screw from the bottom to hold it in place -Pushed in place followed by a bit of glue I think it comes down to not overloading and not trying to push the material around to break up clods, but I am curious what other...

What is the best clean-up sluice for fast efficient gold recovrery I tried one of those gutter sluices, way to slow and tedious. I tried a blue bowl, but again it takes way too long. I want a small recirculating system as i don't have much storage space when i travel, or at home as i live in a condo. I have a 10' x 48' highbanker to run my paydirt, just need a fast, efficient way to clean my cons. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best Tool for Digging Holes In Gravel 3200 4

I am researching better equipment after my last prospecting trip broke 2 shovels. The area where I like to set up my sluice and run is next to a large gravel bar. The issue is the gold is deep (1-2 feet) under gravel varying in size. Getting down there is hard work but it pays off very well. I am wondering if there are any specific types of equipment that you all recommend for digging in gravel. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Tried out the Gold nugget bucket ! Where I am here in Ohio the gold is powder fine. In my first test it seemed to do alright. Half a bucket from a Glacial stream and came out with 6 colors , very small. So if it gets this it should do well anywhere ! Largest was half size head of a pin ! Good tool for sampling .

Hello everyone. I just bought a blue bowl i see on YouTube people running them on high and still having gold but when i run mine on high all my gold gos down the hole. What am I doing wrong I classify from 30,50,100 and run my cons that way. I know to run the water slower for higher numbers. What are some tricks and tips for using the blue bowl

Hi All, As I thought about my equipment more, I was wondering what other folks are doing for knee pads. Cheap or Pricey I have been using cheap ones, $7, from WalMart, 'hyper tough' and with their one velcro strap they are not the most comfortable ones I have ever worn, but I won't cry too much if one of them disappears when I'm hiking around. That being said, if someone had a pair that they just love, I would like to hear about them. What is your preference and are they worth the money...
