    Hi Folks,
Having neglected to think about panning in cold water I figured I would see what the favorite gloves are. I would be interested in all thoughts, sluicing, dredging, high banking, etc. Neoprene that traps water between the glove and skin? Water proof? I look forward to your thoughts.

Hmmmm, a lot of views, for no comments...
Nobody has a pair of gloves they like for panning in cold water? I panned on a day that frost was on the ground, I figured out that morning that any pair of gloves would have been better than nothing...

    Hi Sean,

I live and prospect in Oregon, and the water in winter is cold!

Here are the ones I am using for panning and highbanking: https://a.co/d/bzMrJGk. They are called "ThxToms Heavy Duty Rubber Gloves".

They are not insulated, so I usually use a pair of thin Columbia Omni Heat running gloves as liners. Lately, I haven't used the liners, and the rubber gloves have worked fine. Between highbanking with my GeoSluice, and panning, my hands are in the water quite a bit.

Best of luck. Go get some shiney!
