Good afternoon GPAA Members, New member that just joined after getting the gold fever from my recent visit to Julian, CA where I panned gold with my 6 yr old son at the Julian Co. Been watching Gold Rush the last 8 years and have always wanted to venture out on the weekends or weekdays to pan/sluice for gold. Fires have made these claims pretty much inaccessible, and if the fire doesn't get you the smoke will. Will be awhile, maybe next year before you can get to them. This includes Joyce in Butte County. The fires there are extreme and we don't want to hamper fire fighters. They have enough on their plate. Hwy.70, Hwy. 89, Bucks Lake Rd., Antelope Lake Rd. Gennesse and Taylorsville Rds. from Beckworth and Portola. Stay safe, Thank You just a heads up.

So I finally found the 'New' Online GPAA Claims Directory under the Community 'Tab'. I filed my report on the Gold Basin AZ Bahde 10 &11 Claims. I will go back and add more pics and perhaps even a more detailed report with more information. Hi everyone, Total rookie question…. I just purchased a new pump (Honda GXH50 with Proline HP100 pump). No manual on the pump though. Question is: the hose fitting near the discharge outlet, is this only a priming port or is it duel usage to hook up an actual hose Thank you, Jase

Hello, I am a first year suction dredger. (4 inch keene). Looking for places to dredge around Fairbanks. Any suggestions are appreciated. I have an ADFG permit for Interior/Kenai/Mat-su etc. Plan on taking my dredge and truck camper and boondocking by a river for a few days and repeating.
