This online site shows prospecting somewhere in the Indonesia area. The finds look outlandish, I am trying to decide if they are real. Does someone with a knowledge of geology have an idea if this is real or fake?
    Thanks, Ron

I would say "NO" it is not real!!!!!!!! There is a screen shot, when he pulls the first large nugget out, (watch video closely), that shows where the pick hit the nugget and scared the surface and there was no gold color under the "gold" outer surface. Secondly, he is very careful to use his "fingers only" to excavate the so called nuggets. I'm sorry, but if I were to find such a "lode deposit", I would be moving as much dirt as possible as quickly as possible! Furthermore, who in their "right mind", throws the smaller nuggets back in the hole and backfills the hole, making a motion that those nuggets can stay in the ground for someone else to find? No, I would say B.S.! There are too many things wrong, than right about the video, not to mention the metal detector, which also has multiple inconsistencies as to how a real coil detector responds to ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Wait a minute....The one glaring fail is the fact that he has the metal pick right by the hole and the coil of the detector. The detector would go nuts being that close to the metal pick.

It sure looks fake to me, painted hot rocks of course but I'm not sure the sound wasn't added later, the metal detector didn't find those rocks he already knew they were there. The way he was using/operating the metal detector he would never find anything for that matter. It was a bad attempt, no wonder the comments are turned off. I wish I could get that 14 minutes of my life back. But it did motivate me to want to go out and find the real stuff. Usually when something looks to good to be true it usually is. Thanks for sharing the video with us.
