Jan Rasmussen, Ph.D. to speak at Tucson Gold & Treasure Show 2/17/18

We are blessed to have Dr. Jan Rasmussen grace us with her presence and knowledge.

The GPAA Gold & Treasure Show seminar series will not be one to miss for our Tucson 2018 shows. We are blessed to have Dr. Jan Rasmussen grace us with her presence and knowledge. She boasts an extremely accomplished career, as one of the top economic geologist in the western states and a mentor. 

Jan Rasmussen, formerly Jan Wilt, earned a Ph.D. in economic geology from the University of Arizona in 1993 under the direction of John Guilbert and Mary Poulton. She then went to work for Woodward-Clyde as a geochemist/stratigrapher/economic geologist on the Yucca Mountain project in Nevada. Jan’s work there was recently published in the 2015 Geological Society of Nevada symposium volume.
