Finally got around to digging the MXT out of one of the rigs it was in......Been in there for 5 years, with batteries in the box.  Got lucky and only had 3 terminals to clean up, and it didn't get into the boards.  Had 9 volts with new batts after cleaning, went back in and hit terminals again and finally wound up with 12 V.  Bought it for the wifemate, I used it twice, she never did.  Now I have to try and learn it all over again and better than last time.  Reading the manual for the third time and playing with the controls as I do.Got it stashed in my rig now, along with the headphones and 4 x 6 coil we got at the same time.  Got an outing with another club coming in Nov., so may get some time with it and some OJT with other members.......

GPAA claims in this area have a lot of timber activity on them at times in the past, so a lot of metal like cables, steel, etc.  Tough sledding and not many nuggets to be found in the areas we work, mostly finer stuff and small flakes with an Occasional "sticker"- what I call one I can wet a finger and pick it up that way to transfer to the vial.
