I don't remember much about it but it did spark an interest in prospecting.

What is it called This is some very soft material with some small stones.  Would this be very hard packed before it is taken out of the mine Inquiring minds want to know.

5 Replies and 7057 Views First use of my trommel creekside this weekend!  7057  5 Started by  gbradlamb@hotmail.com Going to get a chance to use my 12' Chris (from Crisson Gold Mine) Designed Water powered trommel.  You can see them on www.aworldapart.com    search water powered trommel       During bench testing at a pond near my house, I was able to recover coarse, flake and flour with ease.  Re-panned my cons and found quite a bit of flypoop gold as well.   I cannot wait to actually run this creekside, sampling some promising areas.
