When I am looking for gpaa claims in my (or another) state it would be beneficial to me to be able to look at one map of the state and see where all of the claims are. It doesn't sound like it would be that hard, and it would make my life easier. Anybody else like the idea

Hi, I am a new member anxiously looking forward to receiving my membership kit and getting involved. I’m new to prospecting other than running a few pans back in middle school. My family and I have been to a pay to play place here in GA and found some gold there. We were all excited at our first find. My son is looking forward to getting out into a creek again. I was curious if I had to wait to receive my kit before we visit a claim, or if having my membership number is enough

I am a older retired person, single and my family is raised and off doing their life. So does anyone have a current claims map of the Gold Basin in Satellite view I really don't feel like spending the $75 for the Footprints Map Program when all I want is the Claims info for this one trip. I can study the Topography, Geology and Geography to my liking from the Satellite view in Google Earth but I want to know the boundaries and what Claims or Public Land is around the Bahde Claims. It can't just be me. I am about to pull my dag gum hair out. I bought a dredge, and built a hand pump dredge, within the past month and bam...winter sets in.... uggg. I am running out of dirt. The creeks will all freeze over this week so I can't go get more. WWHHYY must we suffer like this.

I am going to buy a scale and with so many out there, I was wondering what others might suggest and why. I am looking for the pro's and con's of your model. Of coarse, like everybody else in the world, price is a consideration. I would like it to be portable and the style that opens so the screen and scale are protected. I guess like a pocket scale. .o1 gram accuracy is a must. Thanks!
