Step 1 of 2
ADJACENT TO THE PLACER PETE CLAIM
DROVE A TRAIL RIGHT THROUGHT THE MIDDLE OF THE CLAIM COMING FROM COOLGARDIE ROAD AROUND THE HEY BUDEE 1 CLAIM. THE ROAD I TOOK WAS NOT TRAVELD ON MUCH AND I HAD TO DODGE THE BRUSH ALOT BUT IT TAKES YOU STRAIGHT TO THE CENTER OF THE CLAIM. NOT AS MANY WASHES ON THIS CLAIM LIKE PLACER PETE BUT PLENTY TO WORK. I FOUND THE GOLD ON THE CALICHE LAYER. I DID NOT GET MUCH AS I WAS SAMPLING SO WHEN I COME BACK I CAN GET A LITTLE MORE. I STRUGGLED TO FIND THE GOLD THAT DAY. I WAS ABLE TO DIG UP A LITTLE COLOR BUT 1 GUY SAMPLING AROUND CAN ONLY SAMPLE SO MUCH. MORE TIME IS NEEDED
MORE MEMBER REPORTS ARE NEEDED ON THIS CLAIM. IT IS JUST NORTH OF THE PLACER PETE CLAIM AND WE ALL KNOW THAT CLAIM HAS GOOD GOLD SO THIS ONE SHOULD TOO.
I HAVE SAMPLED AROUND THE CENTER POST AREA - NOT A GOOD PRODUCING AREA. I FOUND THE SOUTH EAST CORNER AREA IN THE SMALL WASHES IS WHERE I FOUND THE COLOR.
I WILL GO BACK AND WORK IT HARDER AND SAMPLE MORE. WHEN I FIND THE AREA OF GOLD I WILL POST IT.
PLEASE IF YOU VISIT THIS CLAIM PLEASE POST A REPORT.
AS MOST OF YOU CAN TELL WE HAVE BEEN LOOSING CLAIMS DUE TO NO ACTIVITY OR MEMBER REPORTS.
OVER THE YEARS WE HAVE NOW LOST HEY BUDEE 7 STRATTON 4 AVALON CLAIM TWO QUARTZ

HB8 2/19/22

Step 1 of 2
HB8 2/19/22
Worked about 3 hours with my Goldmonster 1000. Some trash, lots of hot rocks. Then the detector hit. After digging I found a smaller piece of granite with quartz. This set off the detector in the non-ferrous range. the target I had been digging. The rock was about 1.5" X1" and slightly heavier than other rocks in this size. One face of the rock set off my pinpointer, but nothing was visible to my old eyes. I took the rock home and under magnification there are a few spots of gold on the surface. Found south east of center of claim 35.09417,-117.07526 Approx.
Drywashed a couple tailings piles, about 20 gallons each and found 26 smaller flakes, mostly fine. Average has been 3-4 flakes per 5 gallon bucket of tailings. It appears most washes have been worked and reclaimed.

Hey Budee 8 5/23/20
Step 1 of 1
Hey Budee 8 5/23/20
On Saturday 5/23/20 spent some time on the North West portion of the claim metal detecting. Not much trash but a LOT of hot rocks. Worked up and down back to the trail cutting through the center of the claim for about 3 hours. Did not find any color, but plan to go back and test some areas with a dry wash.
Dry panned a couple of the tailings piles to see if I could find any missed color.
I had parked on Coolgardie road near the North West corner and walked in.

Gold on the Southwest side
Took the road in just east of Placer pete... made a right on one of the exposed Trails followed it in until it opened up at the fork in the road took left and saw an old metal Rack table deteriorating in the Sun pulled over and busted out the detector after about three and a half hours of walking and about 30 targets of random I finally found one picky.... nice and open when you get to the center..... some of the trails take you down certain Canyons.... there's a quartz outcropping near the southeast marker definitely going to go back with my dry washer check it out again

No luck this time
Step 1 of 1
No luck this time
Worked a little wash just below the quartz outcropping. Could not dig very deep because of the rock on the hillside. Dug and washed for about an hour and a half, no luck. With all the quartz it seems like it would be a good area.
