We hiked upriver 3 miles along a very easy and scenic trail from Briceburg to get to the claim on the north side of the river, and to avoid having to park alongside the busy highway. My wife was staying in the RV, but prefers to hike, so that's what we did together. There is trailhead parking on the north side of the river (across the bridge). Sharp turns at both ends of the bridge, so short or no trailers only.
