I used the gps from the gpaa web site had to get google maps but took me right to the site no problems drove from cold springs nv

The Grizzly Bear #2 claim is a joint use claim between the GPAA and AMRA. The claim is active in the BLM LR2000 system for the 2019/2020 Mining Year.


 

From genesee to claim — 2x4 or 4x4

I got 16.7 miles from the small community of genesee to the claim. Fairly easy road to traverse in 2x4 or 4x4. The only questionable spot is right when turn into the little camp spot. If things are even a little wet, rainy, a 2x4 might not work. The road makes a sharp turn over the creek. The road in question here is right in the bend of the turn.

Drove up from the SF Bay Area. GPS took us to Lake Davis on Grizzly Rd. We got to a sign that said the road was not plowed beyond that point. Within a half mile the road became impassable due to snow. Took another route that led us to Beckworth-Genessee Rd with the same result. Will have to try later in the year


 

This area is rich in valuable mineral deposits. — 2x4
