Hello from Alaska -

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone on the GPAA forum and introduce myself.  I'm relatively new to Alaska and just joined the Interior Chapter of GPAA out of Fairbanks, but my family and I are actually re-joining GPAA after a number of years away overseas.  So I guess we're Newbies, but kinda not...  We first joined back in 2003-2004 timeframe and later joined the LDMA, attending many outings and digs in Oregon and California and doing our share of running a highbanker and a dredge in No. California on a few claims.  We've never done any prospecting in Alaska but we're sure looking forward to this coming season and making new friends up here.  I went up and met Craig Smith, the President of the Interior Chapter, and it sounds like we've hooked up with a great bunch of folks.  My new thing to try is nuggetshooting with my new X-Terra 705, so that'll be interesting too.  We're glad to be back in the GPAA and look forward to meeting our fellow members out on the digs!
