I was intrigued by the article you wrote about setting the sensitivity on the GB2, I'm a big fan of the GB2 and plan on trying it in a few weeks. But have a couple of questions. I like using the Audio Boost when I can or would that effect the sensitivity to much? I also run my volume at max and adjust my volume on my headphones, maybe I misunderstood your instructions, do you set and leave your volume at 7? I also try and run in low mineralization but usually end up in the normal settings and my sensitivity at 10 so I'm hoping your tuning procedure will smooth thing out. So tuning the GB2 to the ground can be better than just turning the sensitivity to 10? I'm always looking for ways to get more out of the GB2 so I'm looking forward to trying this and will let you know how I did and any adjustments I found that worked good for me and my GB2. Thanks and thanks again for the article. Jerry

Thanks Kevin, I'm always trying new things on my GB 2, so when I read your article I was intrigued. I look forward to watching it when you get it done. I have two GB 2's and I use them both, I believe sometimes they act like two different machines, one works better with the 6.5" coil at times as one seems to work better with the 10" coil. That was the case for me at Placer Pete's a few days ago. Maybe it is just having fresh ears or what's between the ears after taking a break or after a good nights rest.
