(Topic has multiple pages1 2 )
Hi Prospectors, I asked our Social Media Guru Paul to create this area within the Forum to make it a bit easier for me to see and respond to Members Prospecting & Mining questions. There have been a number of occasions that I have missed questions that were directed to me, this is not going to be the case any longer. I can't say that I will respond immediately because of of my schedule and the fact that there are a lot of places I travel that simply do not have connectivity. But know tha...

0 Replies and 10 Views Eagle Eye Claim South Dakota  10  0 Started by  tisbrew@hotmail.com Already lost the rainbow now it looks like the Eagle Eye, This is from the minutes in the local club. brought up that He, along with & AAAA have a lease agreement with the GPAA on the Eagle Eye. They are not expecting to renew the lease and the three of them would like to give the club members exclusive rights to the 80-acre claim. The claim is on both sides of the road. Estes Creek runs thru it. I removed the names of the people for their privacy. What is going on, why a we...

2 Replies and 55 Views Cajon Summit Group Ingress Question  55  2 Started by  jerry.perez1969@gmail.com Sunday - May 31st, 2020 So I went today to scout out this claim and I attempted to enter via the Ingress Coordinate of 34°20'6.84' -117°25'13.54' the incline was a little steep for me and wasn't sure if this was really the way to enter, since it was ascending fairly rapidly. I was almost to the top and chickened out since i wasn't familiar with the area, the road was narrow, no room to turn around unless you back up and drive backwards or unless you get to the summit and turn around. Is ther...

3 Replies and 409 Views How long can you stay on a claim  409  3 Started by  martinamerica@yahoo.com A member on FB recently asked if he could camp on a claim. I said of course. Then the discussion went to for how long. Please add this in your FAQ section. Some say it’s 2 weeks on BLM and FS land. Some say it’s indefinite on a claim. some say it's 6 months. What is it I can’t find anything on the GPAA website about this. The search function does not work. Thank you. Martin Wormser

1 Replies and 114 Views Outside 300  114  1 Started by  stananvergie@aol.com Kevin, just read the article about the 300 zone. Seems a long way to tote water. So just thinkin, a long piece of garden hose. Loooonnnnggg piece, or should I say several together. Gorrilla tape a funnel to the end. Take a piece of cord tie it in a tree high enough to let gravity take the water where you want it. Pour it in slowly. Might even set up another bucket with a small spigot to feed the hoses so you just keep feeding it with water instead of taking the water buckets out 300ft. lol, just...

1 Replies and 86 Views New  86  1 Started by  madcadr@yahoo.com N Au bie here. Looking forward to my membership. Might have to invest in a speed reading course to get through all the materials. I searched the forums using 'Malakoff' as my search term but found nothing so: How is that possible Do GPAA members have some exclusive rights that differ from the general public Can you prospect using more ...

I wanted to contact their service department for information about possible repairs but get no answering of phone calls or replies to messages left with the company. their website still existed three weeks ago but the was no interaction with my inputs and no where to leave an email. Just curious if you have any inkling as to their current business status. Thanks in advance, Roland Shafer rshafersrgmail.com

4 Replies and 339 Views ?? ABOUT STAKING A NEW CLAIM FOR GPAA  339  4 Started by  edwinkrueger73@icloud.com I am in Southern California near Camp Pendelton. Recently I was looking for a place to play in the dirt, I found a great piece of river to work. I did my due diligence and could not find any claims to the land. I am not very experienced in this endeavor but I think that this is a good spot as every time I have gone out I have found color in my pan. Again I am not very good at this yet so I may not be looking in the right spots, however each time I have gone I have tested a different spot and eac...
