I think there used to be previously.
For some reason they removed many features on this forum.
    It's become rather sad.

Many things that I find are common on most all other forums I'm a member of are somehow beyond the capabilities here.

I have no idea where 40,000+ members' $10 a month maintenance fees go, let alone the actual memberships, just like taxes.

Used to be able to click on a poster's name and pull their profile page up. That would open an option to let you send a private message to them.

That feature is now gone, and clicking on any name just pulls up your own page with bare information and urging to renew or extend membership. The profile page is a sad thing from what it used to be. Avatars are gone too.....

When web pages are bad , just like how web Forums are poorly set up.. if it Doesnt work good.. people stop using it... and when people stop using it.. it makes it harder to go in and be a part of the conversation ect.. i like most of GPAA online... but theres still some not so likeable things.. im getting use to it...

    ..

I don't understand why that comment would be so funny.

I realize it's not as many as is listed as members of this forum, but I think a few people may have found their way to this forum without being members of the GPAA.

Maybe all 54,917 are GPAA members, then that would be some very serious monthly income.

But then if they all sent me a penny a month it would be a major percentage boost to my income.
I pinch my nickels so hard, they act like quarters.

I hope sometime in the next couple of years I'll make it out to some claims and justify the ongoing expense.

    Good luck to you.

@ david hay... i actually liked your comments more than i thought it was funny..

So i think the Best way to contact, or be contacted by a fellow member. is to put YOUR Email in your post.. from what i am seeing.. some people also leave a phone number also..

    But

    Edited!
But i guess what else that happens is .
Non GPAA members .... can contact people on this website, who can view these forums online without being a GPAA member which is kind of a bummer.. seems like this GPAA website should be a lil more secure, from just letting everyone online being able to acsess this site.. but i guess it helps them get more members at the same..

If I remember correctly, if a forum member wanted to contact another member they had to access their personal profile page, enter their name and password again and see what methods were available.

Seemed secure enough. Kinda standard on other forums.
That way private info wasn't available to scammers.

Oh well, I'll hang around until I actually make it out to some claims then reevaluate if it's still of benefit. At the moment I'm rather doubtful.
