My small blue Gold pan is famous because Kevin Hoagland borrowed it at the Pomona Gold show...After he returned it he poured Gold in the Gold panning stations for everyone...Right on Kevin.

I have an idea Kevin. Next time you're near Pomona, I'd like to see a Gold Trails episode filmed at the San Gabriel Mountains East Fork River. Specifically about 3 miles up river to an area called 'Swan Rock'. The Allison Mine above has always been a good Gold area.

With the area becoming a National Monument soon, Gold panning (already is) will be all but illegal soon. (1872 Mining Law is not helping) Currently the Forest Rangers allow it because the Gold panners clean up after themselves. They also join in on the trash clean up weekends a couple times a year. See a guy on You Tube named Alan (Pharroah) He makes videos of every Gold Mine up there and he gets everybody to show up for cleaning parties...

...The first mile up the East Fork river is Diapers & Graffiti...The second mile is just Graffiti & a little trash...The third mile is mostly clear water & Big Horn Sheep & Gold
