If you are at a show and get the chance, sit in on his talk. He puts how to set up most any machine and what to listen for in a way that makes more sense ( at least to me) than the manual does.  The man is a wealth on knowledge and information, and even better, is willing to share it at the drop of a coil.

I gained more insight on my MXT  in that hour and having a question answered later when he bailed from the GPAA booth to go with me to the White's booth and grab the coil in question and do a show and tell with it.

I have to agree with you Arthur. I think I have sat in in Kevin or Kevin and Bill about 12 times and I learn something new every tine. Also at the First 7 day LDMA Stanton Camp outing, I saw Kevin with people everyday working one on one to help them get the hang of their machine.

The coil in question was explained (and easy to understand because of electronics training back in the early/mid '70's), and now I will end up with another one in the bag later this month before a relic hunt in central Oregon next month.  Ah well, only greenbacks that would have gone to Bud or Jack anyway.

Thanks Kevin-------ordered the Eclipse 6x10 and should have it on the 20th in time for the club hunt on the 24th and the trip to central Oregon in May.

4-25-2016----Went out yesterday with the 6x10 and I love the thing.
