    Hello Kevin,

While in Quartzsite, the wife and I went to their little gold show (very small affair). Anyway , while looking through the offerings I noticed that one of the vendors ( Miners Depot, I believe) had a miniature Keene 190 series dry washer. Have you seen this and more importantly - any experience with it? I have looked online to find what I could...no luck!

I did email Pat over at Keene as I had his email address. I had been in touch with him previously with a couple questions on the 192. I've not gotten a reply as of yet.

    Thanks and take care,

    Jim

(Anybody else seen this piece of equipment?)

Guess I should have looked a little harder....... Found it over at www.makeyourowngoldbars.com

160 series. I will include their description of it for others - below.
Still wondering if you or anyone else that has run the 190's has any time on this also. Basically to compare the two.

    .............................................................Pasted from www.makeyourowngoldbars.com .........................................................................................................
This Mini Drywasher has all the same AMAZING features as the Professional 190 Series. This smaller version is extremely lightweight and compact making it ideal for packing into remote locations. The NEW 160 provides Super Fine Gold Recovery with a dustless operation making this the perfect machine for family outings. This drywasher can handle 3/4 of a yard per hour, more than enough capacity to keep one man extremely busy. Weighs only 29 Lbs and can be picked up and carried by one hand with its detachable handle. (Shipping weight is 40 Lbs) The 160 does not include the blower, please refer to the 161 if you need the blower included.

“Blast Gate Technology“ provides for infinite adjustment of vibration and air pressure.
“Scrubbing Pins” separate and liberate stubborn gold and creates an even flow of material.
“Enclosed riffle bed” creates a dust free environment and a compact single unit design for an
    extremely efficient machine.

    Jim,
Sorry I missed this. I have used both the of the Dustless units the 190 and 160. I really like both units a lot. I said in another post that they are not the be all end all to drywashing but they are dang close. I bought a 160 that I haven't had a chance to use since I loaned it to a friend the day after I got it and I have not seen him since. He is loving it and it is performing as expected.

    Thank you , Kevin.

I had expected about as much in regards to the performance of the 160. I really like the "system" of the 190 machine - however (as you know) it is somewhat cumbersome. I may look a little further at the 160 for mobility and testing. The 190 is more of a PRODUCTION (read - OMG, I should have hired a couple folks to help out) machine than it is something easily moved from test to test.

Thanks again for your time....I truly appreciate it!

    Jim
