Lawful Mining, markers, agencies, forms, info, etc 18132 11
Started by tekmahn@msn.com
LAWFUL MINING CLAIMS Current events trends towards erosion of mining rights and withdraw of use from public lands. Some progress has been made in the courts to restore rights. GPAA Mining Guide no longer lists all State and Federal agencies they may require notification for leases, contracts, royalties, regulations, planning, approval and permitting.

Just posting to spread the word. As of right now AMRA will be having a peaceful protest in Sacramento on August 27th, 2019 1pm, State Capitol and bring your LOUD VOICE. I will be there and hope anyone else who can be there will be there. WE WILL send a message to those politicians who think they can walk over the people of the state, ignoring federal laws and regulations and taking away our rights. FEE CHANGES 23574 3
Started by wheasonjr@gmail.com
The BLM has made some changes to some fees for mining claims. Most are only a five dollar increase but if you did not included the correct amount it could cause problems including the loss of your claim. I have tried to highlight the federal register notice areas of interest and the table of the increases. The new amount is on the far right side of the table. Major issue for most miners at this time is the increase in the filing fee with BLM for the Affidavit of Labor or Proof of Labor, this is ...

The above map shows who the land manager is and which sections have claims. The simple fact that the BLM is the land manager does not mean the land is open to prospecting or claim.

EVERY MINER SHOULD COMMENT
Raising US output of non-fuel minerals and fossil fuel resources is part of the Trump administration's America First policy, aimed at boosting US exports while curbing imports using tariffs and other protectionist measures.
The United States is heavily reliant on imports of certain mineral commodities that are vital to the Nation's security and economic prosperity. This dependency of the United States on foreign sources c...

Little bit of an alert for all you miners out there. The BLM seems that they have upgraded the LR2000. This morning I pulled up a new reporting program where you can pull up all claims in all states. Not sure how well it works but hope non of you have more than 10 claims going across states and use an Small Miners Exemption. I pulled up all the BLM claims that I am on, make sure you do not have any more than 10 claims if you are an SME filler.  ...

Review of Certain National Monuments from 1996 62580 3
Started by wheasonjr@gmail.com
We are getting a second chance to comment on the National Monument if you have the desire. National Monuments are totally controlled as recreational areas with location rights removed. In virtually all instances that I know of public use is at the whim of the agency and most activities are very much curtailed or stopped all together like prospecting. East Fork of the San Gabriel River is one that comes to mind that is most recent. There is a web site page that is devoted to this that is a part o...

California mining claim access 20169 5

I am sorry if this has been asked or discussed already, i tried searching for this subject and did not find anything.
I have recently established a mining claim on Camp Creek in El Dorado County, California. It is a 40 acre claim which has about 2500 ft of river that runs through it. There is only one access to the claim currently which comes off a dirt forestry road. It looks as though the previous claim owner went to some lengths to try and camouflage the access by w...

promise to repeal regulations and rules that denied the owners of the Public Lands, Us citizens,
access and use of those properties !

New prospects for mining and prospecting in the works. 5346 0
Started by robertj.scarborough@comcast.net
Hi!
I saw a small news item on Fox News the other week about the U.S. Government wanting to reduce our dependence
on China and other foreign countries for strategic minerals.
Like: Gold, Platinum, Cobalt, Titanium, Copper, Magnesium, bauxite, and rare earth minerals used for electronics
( I can't spell most of them - is unobtainium a real substance).
There have been some huge discoveries in new uses for Gold as an alloy with Titanium which is
stronger than Titanium...
