To all members and potential members of the NW GA Chapter at Buchanan, During the 2018 season the chapter meetings were held on the 3rd Saturday of the month. At the meeting in Nov 2018 it was voted by members to move the chapter meetings back to the 2nd Saturday of the month. Meetings for 2019 start on March the 9th, and 2nd Sat of every month through Nov. 9th. Folks start arriving around 8am for fellowship and prospecting. Many GPAA members enjoy collecting memorabilia from their adventures across the country, pins, hats, stickers, etc. They are nice tokens to remember good times with friends. South Eastern-Central Washington Chapter thoughts anyone Seems their are a few folks in this area that are looking for a chapter/group to join. I,m putting out some feelers to see if there is enough interest to start a chapter. I'm in the Tri-citys and thinking from Yakima to WallaWalla and the surrounding areas might hold a group. Delta Gold Diggers will be at Bear River Park near Auburn, Ca., on July 21st. We will meet at Weimar Hills School at 8:00 am and leave for the park at 8:15. If you are a GPAA member and live in the surrounding areas, come on out and spend a day with us. Greenhorns are always welcome. Don't worry about experience because we have plenty to share. Come on out and join the Delta Gold Diggers on their June outing. We are headed to one of our club members claims. If you would like to join us, we are meeting in the South (main) parking lot of Columbia State Historic Park, Columbia, CA, at 8:00 am on June 30, 2018. We are leaving for the claim at 8:15 am. I just want to give a big THANK YOU to them for inviting us to their picnic yesterday. Great time with another Chapter, good food and conversation. They put on a great raffle, and I got lucky enough to win a few items including a gem bag along with a couple of pans for the collection.
I was also the fortunate winner of a Jimbo's Gold Miller Table... I can't wait to give it a try on some black sand cons. I about fell out of my chair when Debbie called my name.

At the request of new chapters in FL and the increased communication between Tim Liebel, FL Director, and me, we would like to put together a common op OR just get together for a miners swap meet and creek digging, for the Chapters in FL and GA.
Please contact your Chapter Pres. or State Director to let us know that you are interested. We plan to have this event either in GA or just across the line in AL.
The time frame is late SEPT or very early OCT 2017.

Out next outing is June 10th the Farm. Water is warming up and more folks are showing up. If you have been thinking about buying a dredge why not try before you buy Come help me on Sat the 10th run my 5' and see if you like it.

As some of you may be aware I am the new State Director for Florida. As a way for all of us to get to know each other, I would like to see if we can set up a group outing. Either metal detecting or fossil hunting here in Florida or maybe a weekend group dig at Curvins Cow Pasture in Alabama. I especially want to invite our military and first responders to join us.
