Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management (State Trust Lands)

Kevin Hoagland – I spoke with a ASLD spokesperson to better understand the Ingress and egress across Arizona State Trust Lands during fire closures. This is what I was able to discover from the conversation.

You may drive any registered motor vehicle through existing Federal, State or County mapped, named, and/or numbered roads that crosses AZ State Trust Land for ingress or egress only.
Due to the closure of State Trust Land statewide, you cannot use State Trust Land for any recreational activity at this time. The closure includes those holding a current Arizona State Land Department Recreation Permit. Currently these permits are not being issued.
