I think it would be a great idea. Sometimes the free conversation will turn into a brainstorming session and things just flow. Like sitting around the campfire or panning tub

I always enjoyed going into the chat room. I haven't been on the forum in a while, and I am disappointed that the "new" site doesn't have a chat feature. We used to have a lot of informative chats (and some b.s. sessions too). Admin, is this being considered? I hope y'all bring it back.

Nelson, gee can you explain that a bit more? I have been a member for a short time but I dont actually see what could cause any bitterness. I signed up not with the idea that the membership was going to put gold in my pocket, but more so with the idea that I can have some land that I dont actually own and to be able to legally prospect on it or camp and just enjoy the time, because of whatever I make of it. And if I study geology and bust my butt I can make something more of that. I think in this quest to find gold, I have to be smart about what I do, where I go to find it, and the processes that I choose to use. I was wondering what got you so upset that you feel that you have to blame the organization? If you want to expand on that I am interested to know.

I know I did not join the GPAA to chat on a computer. I enjoy sharing the ideas here , but I like to talk with others out on the claims. I will never get rich doing this , but I sure have fun at it.

Me I just like the people who are willing to help others and make some good friends .And do find some gold .You have to love the outdoors to do this .That is a big part of it .

I like the idea of a chat room - would be another great tool for learning from others who are doing :-)

i just got computer back up and came to check up on things and see if i could get back with some old friends to find out the hole web page has been upgraded looks good and all but i spent last hour looking for chat room be 4 i found this post lol yea i would like to see a live chat room back it was good to find some old friends here and chat with to where i cant find the chat room and haft to do it all over again
