    Has anyone been to the GOLDEN BACK ACHERS site by Libby Mt? When is the best time to go there?

    Was planning a trip sometime in May.

    it's been awhile since i've been there. spring up until end of june is good. remember to fallow the forest service rules.

    Ken glad i could help. if you need anything else let me know.. let me know how your prospecting and rock hounding goes. just an idea for you on your sluice box... if you classify all your material down to 1/4 inch or so your sluice box will capture more gold remember 1inch of pitch to 1 foot of sluice box is a starting point. if your loosing gold out the end use less pitch if your box is loading up and not processing material use more pitch.
