If anyone is interested in meeting up to go do some treasure hunting or gold mining/panning please let me know. I am new to the hobby and enjoying every moment. That said i have my own equipment so I am ready to go. I prefer to prospect and explore with a group. It gets kind of sketchy being in the desert by yourself.

Where do you live. My wife and I live in Kingman and are new also. We are ready to go out and try. We will use gold detectors

Hey, I'm in. I live in Utah but I own a home in Mesquite Nv, I'd love to try the Bahde group and test my skill. (which is minimal) I believe there is safety in numbers as well as excitement when others in the group find something.

I live in Tucson AZ. I was looking at the Greaterville area. That said your pretty far north. I hear there are some really good claims up near you all. Where did you have in mind heading out to?

There are a few people out on the Bahde claims right now. The ground is still dry, so you can drywash.

    Hello Armando,
I live north of Tucson in the Saddlebrooke community. I'm keen on going out to some of the GPAA sites and other areas to do some metal detecting. Either day trips or 1-2 day camp-outs. I especially like to hike into remote areas that are not easily accessed. I agree with you, it would be better/safer to team-up on these outings.

We are in Casa Grande and looking for people/places to go metal detecting. I have other gold equipment, but would like to try my detector first!

Hello, I'm in Arizona city for the winter and have been looking at the GPAA claims in the Greaterville area near Tucson. It's a little over an hour drive for me but I'm anxious to check it out! I have lots of equipment from detectors to drywasher, gold cube, spiral wheel etc. I plan to load the dog and equipment up Friday morning and head that way. Anyone that knows the area or wants to check it out too would be welcome to follow or meet up there. I'm not very good with my GPS yet so the help would be appreciated.
