I'm heading out to pershing co. To hopefully get out of this smoke and also do some detecting with my new GM1000. I haven't received a card yet so I was wondering if I can work a claim out there with just Identification and knowledge of my membership number.

That's my plan. After looking in the mining guide, I'm wondering if maybe I'll check out a different area besides the claim, since the the only tool it recommends is a drywasher (which I don't have.)

I am pretty familiar with that whole area, but I didnt know that there were any worthwhile claims anywhere in the area. There was only 1 in the Eugene Mountains. Have you been there before?

I ended up going out to the Temple 1 claimed. I didn't find anything with my detector, but it was kinda cool seeing the old mine up on the hill. I definitely want to do some more detecting around northern Nevada sometime soon!

I just signed up for a membership. I am interested in connecting with a charter here in N.C. I have reached out to the leader with no response. Can someone tell me if a charter in N.C. meets as a group and goes panning anywhere? I'm so confused. Thank you
