Hey Don, If your friend is a GPAA member like your self, the only way to access a LDMA Camp or claim is to be an LDMA member. Except for the following times.
GPAA members can attend the group digs for a fee, if registered ahead of time.
You can also ask for a 3 day pass to a camp from the main office if you're interested in joining, or you can be the guest of an LDMA member for 3 days at a camp, but are limited to only panning and sluicing in the creek, unless you are helping a member feed or tend their equipment. You could not run your own highbanker or dredge.
