Will I need two tickets to attend both days in Las Vegas, or will they still give wrist bands.

While I wish all the show hosts and GPAA well in the shows, you really need to get better coordination as to who is responsible for what.  Our chapter was trying to get information on booth space at the Portland show and expenses for parking, etc., and if RV's and overnights were allowed.  The chapter hosting told our chapter president to contact GPAA office and then the show person there supposedly told him to contact the hosting chapter.  At the time of the meeting yesterday, no solid information had come down to base a decision on.

The whole upshot of this turns out to be that the chapter decided not to attend the show and have a booth, but instead do another demo with an outdoor store that weekend.

If you want solid participation  you really need to get the birds in a row..............or take back the responsibility for putting on shows.  From my vantage point over the last two years it has gone downhill at an extremely rapid pace.  Especially after the boys split the holdings, and now that GPAA has changed hands.

    Robert,
If you purchased a ticket for 2 days online, that one ticket will be good both days. We have a new ticketing system that recognizes one and two day ticket purchases when you scan at the door (don't throw ticket away!). Wrist bands are only good day of show so you can go in and out.

Stop by the GPAA booth and say "Hi!"

    Hello Paul,

Paul here as well. We are still in the process of securing all the vendors for the Vegas Show as many of them tend to commit right before the show which doesn't do anybody much good. Rest assured however that we will have a full house at Vegas as it is THE destination show and always the biggest of the year. We will update the show page and all members with emails as we get more information in the coming weeks.

Until then, be sure to book your room at South Point using the GPAA Group Code as soon as you can before they expire next week. Thanks for your interest and we'll see you in Vegas!

That's it for this year Joe. Stay tuned on the events page for other gold shows or similar events that chapters may put together and we'll be sure to keep everyone posted when next year's schedule is ready.

    Happy prospecting!
