I have purchased a bag of concentrates once before, just to try it. I was actually pleased with what I found. But like anything, buyer beware. The one I bought was from a local mining shop. Give it a try can't hurt, if nothing else it will help you practice your panning technique.

Gold Hogs Mystery Cons are pretty good. I purchased 4 bags of them, and have panned out 2 of them so far and found gold in most every pan so far. Doc at Gold Hog states on his video that the Mystery Cons are just like prospecting, some bags may contain a lot of gold, while others may not have as much, but most of them will have at least a little gold in them. Gold Hog does not add gold to their cons like some others do, but instead their cons come right from their dredging operation, then they are dried and sampled and graded as to the gold content. Doc only sells cons that grade out with a "B" average or higher.
