Join the Buckeye Chapter of the GPAA on Saturday, October 11, 2014 for our monthly meeting. Come celebrate Oktoberfest, Buckeye style! The Buckeye Chapter will be grilling bratwurst for our potluck lunch. Feel free to add to this feast with your favorite dishes! German fare will be a plus for this event! Below is the schedule of events for the day:
10:00AM - Common Dig. Please show up by 9:45am for registration. $6 fee. Participants will draw for a split of the cons and a gold nugget immediately following the dig.
10:00AM - Prospecting Store Opens / Raffle Sales. Shop our prospecting store for pans, classifiers, scoops, vials, BCGPAA shirts and more! We will have gold con bags available at this meet, so be sure to stock up !
12:00PM - Oktoberfest Potluck. The Buckeye Chapter will be grilling bratwurst for this event. Feel free to bring a dish to share. German fare will be a plus for this event!
1:00PM - Chapter meeting and raffles.
2:00PM - Metal Detecting Hunt. BCGPAA's own Jen Johnson will be hosting our clubs last MD hunt of the season! There are still many great items left over from GRD to give away, as well as the unique items that she comes up with for her hunts, including gold and silver!!! Registration $10 and will take place at the raffle tables all morning until meeting time.
2:00PM - Kids Activities. The Buckeye Chapter will be sponsoring kids activities at 2:00PM at the pavilion. Candy filled pinata and pumpkin decorating will be the highlights for the day! Please give us a heads up on how many kids you will be bringing and ages so we can coordinate supplies. Thanks!
