Hey all! I'm new to the GPAA and am planning a camping/prospecting trip to the Eagle Rock #1 and 2 claims on Burnt River in mid-July.

Can anyone give me some insight into the accessibility of these claims? I see from map images that it is located across the river, and begins just East of the prospecting pits/tailings/mine dumps, but I do not see a bridge or footpath for crossing the river. Can it be crossed on foot? is there access somewhere else along the river?

I assume because the claim is not directly located next to the river, that these are ancient river bed gravels I should be expecting to work?

Any information about this claim would be very helpful! I may make a day trip out there to lay eyes on it before I load up and commit to a week of camping.

No bridge. Should be wadeable in July. Haven't been across n
But the original Eagle rock ran up the hillside in a ravine. You can bring material down to pan and process.

I have poked around on the Starlas but came up empty, didn't spend much time on them though. Nice pull through campsite just downstream from the Starlas. Looks like and old homestead site with some old fruit trees.
