I have not used this app for gold prospecting yet but try (topo Maps) on the iphone or ipad. Lots of options to add layers and satellite. One day soon I'll be out prospecting. Good luck.

Hey thanks for the tip, I’m checking it out but don’t know the terminology well, do you know how I would just input simply input coordinates and the pin point will appear accordingly?
