This was a day trip on Nov 25 2019 to longs to check out 2 new pieces of equipment [An Electroscope mdl 20 and a gold rush bucket fine gold recovery system.
Arrived at 10 AM and checked in at the office. Cost was $20 for the day. There are creeks at both ends of the property with easy access to them and the river. Lots of bedrock showing
Weather was sunny and 65 at 10 am, still sunny and up to 84 at 3 pm when I left.

Decided to start at the mouth of the creek at the far end of the property using the Electroscope. In an hour + had 15 "light targets" used my metal detector for exact location. At 6 to 12 inches found 13 soda cans and 1 piece of foil. The last was an iron grate at 2 1/2 ft. I knew the location was a common use picnic area and should have expected the soda cans.

The claim is loaded with iron pyrite, is said to have fine gold and some pickers. Not the best area but decided to set up at the iron grate location and try the gold rush bucket using a recorc. water system

Used Jet dry in the water, soil was mostly sand with some small gravel from the bottom of the hole.

After shoveling for 2 hours Decided to pack up, check the gold rush bucket cons and leave.

The gold rush bucket seems to have worked as advertised as you can see from the rings of black sand and other material.

Will have to pan, classify and run thru the blue bowl to see if there's any fine.

Next trip I will go up the creek a ways looking for a better location.
