I dont see any rules or regs in the 2019 mining guide relating to guests, maybe here on this site somewhere, dono ?
It used to be guests were limited to pans but...just find some gold

I think William is correct that a guest is welcome and limited to panning only. I remember reading this a long time ago. Can't find anything now in the 2014 & 2019 mining guide. Nothing on the web site either.
Do remember to have your membership and mining permit with you as well as the Mining Guide near by.
