I just got done panning out a bag from www.Ipan4gold.com , owned by a member of the GPAA Augusta, GA Chapter.
I am impressed!
Large Nugget
2 Smaller Nuggets
Many Pickers
Many Flakes
A lot of Flour
I have not weighed the recovered treasure yet, but, it looks like more with that nugget sitting there...
This is by far the biggest recovered nugget that I have personally experienced...all for less than a tank and a half of diesel.

I got a 1 lb. sample bag when I bought one his tables at the Loud Mine. It was loaded for the size. Many small flakes, some flour and 2 pickers.
I also picked up some dirt from the Heritage Mine in McCormick. Dave (park caretaker) puts together a good bag for the money. We got 6 pickers and a lot of flake, very little flour.
On a side note, the Martin Table has led to my permanent distraction and leading to an obsession of extracting every piece of gold, no matter how small.
Todd Martin is also one of the nicest, most genuine folks you could hope to meet. I can also recommend Crisson's Gold Mine in Dahlonega, GA.
Tammy and Tony go out of their way to support their customers. They also sell some good paydirt.

Actually, I have the subscription for 5lb each month as it gives me a reason to set up the Gold Cube and get the rush of opening up the top mat. I know there's gold in it but it's still a rush.

One other thing - it's never 1 pound - always more. On my last subscription shipment, I got five 1lb bags and each bag weighed 1lb 4oz. It's shipped in Zip-loc bags that are double bagged.

Hey Everybody, I checked out the Constellation Mining website Rob mentioned. Really decent prices for Alaska paydirt, only $11.50 +s&h for a 1lb bag (they ship in USPS flat rate boxes). I might give them a try. I'll post the results if I do.
One note: if the paydirt really comes from a pit like the one in the pic of a guy in the hole with a shovel (click on the 1# paydirt and pics will come up check them out), I would give my left everything (arm,leg,n*t,etc.) to have access to that material with a highbanker.
Another cool thing was the subscription paydirt, EX: 1 - 1lb bag a month for 6 mos @ $10 a month +s&h (saves 1.50). They offer different size bags up to 15# bag ($150.00) for at least a 6 month period, some smaller bags can be shipped on a weekly basis.
Sounds interesting, I might check it out.

I've bought from Constellation Mining from Alaska. My first was off of Amazon.com but it's cheaper to go straight to them. They ship via USPS Priority Mail I've always been pleased with the gold content but never really done an ROI calculation. It's a family owned mine and they are darn nice people via email. Thanks, but had to give up hunting due to issues like your better half......3 in 36 hours, ejection factor of somewhere in the 15-20% range and a defib/ pacemaker implant 5 years ago. Can only do limited walking and such with plenty of rest stops. Actually surprised I have lasted this long. If I got an animal down now, would have to stay and eat all of it right there,lol. Add to that now that it is just me, I couldn't eat a deer in a year even if I could bring one home.

Thanks Paul....yes I noticed though most were labeled private and could even open them. I dont know...I compare his approach to something like being invited to a party, and when the beer runs out, a guy has three cases in his trunk and will sell them for 3 bucks a bottle.

BC- will do, I didn't classify down with it the first time around, so want to go back and run through the 20,50 and 100 screens and repan (all still in the tub) and see what I missed the first time. I know I blew a couple of flakes out of the pan and want to get them. Will weigh the results and post them up. I'll see if I can get it done by Thanksgiving.

My wife had a recent cardiac event which ended our season, she is recovering but it couldn't have happened at a better time now that the snow is settling in, but I am curious in your results because I don't have any material to play with this winter. Our last dig resulted in the worst dig I have ever seen. This old claim that we dug on that is now open property has been so cleared out that absolutely nothing exists any longer, but you go down or upstream 30 meters on either side and it is still rich, but very difficult to work.
A few things I have learned about Colorado Prospecting since we moved here;
1. If it is easy to dig, don't bother, it has already been dredged.
2. If the section of river has nothing but large stones that are almost impossible to get apart that is where you need to start.
3. Much of Colorado's rivers were heavily dredged over the last century so one must focus on finding areas that have not been touched.
The last batch was easy to dig, brought home a massive amount of dirt, and after panning through 1/4th of it we got maybe 6 grains of salt. I can honestly do better buying sand from a outlet store selling tools.
Please let me know your end results, over the holidays and the late winter it would be nice to have some inexpensive material to play with and teach the nieces, nephews, and grandkids with?

I haven't finished the first of the 2, 5 lb bags I got from Whiskey Pete's off his ebay site. Have about a 1/3 cup left to work from the bottom of the firstbag, and have not worked any of the snuffer bottle to get more of the black sand out of it. So far have been pleased by what has showed up. I didn't go into it looking for ROI, it was more curiosity and to see what might be there. After I go through the second bag, I will probably get a couple of more just to have something to play with on the porch when I get bored from everything else I'm into.

Hey Leo, I went to his e-bay site and checked his reviews. The majority of his positive reviews were stock replies that people post when when giving reviews, like: "fast shipping good service", "good service, just like pictured", "got here quickly, fast service", "quick turnaround, nice product", "etc".
Not a lot of them gave actual reviews of the gold, and the ones who did were a mixed bag of results, from folks who say they found gold in "widely varying" amounts to folks who said "what gold" or "ran it over a miller table, nothing there".
Also,notice how his post disappeared after he kind of berated us for not believing him. don't know if he did it or the admin. Just curious is all.
And you're 100% right this is not the place for marketing. Pay to advertise ( which is usually a deductible expense ), don't use free forums that are for everyday folks to exchange info and knowledge.

Rhett, My feeling about you or your organization really has nothing to do with whether you might be scamming people or not, but I think foremost, and I think a lot of the other guys would agree.....that there is a right place and wrong place to be trying to make a buck off a "brother" or "sister". I see the forum as a place where we come to share ideas and help others out with issues. But not where someone comes pushing right into a conversation to sell their product. I dont see "ol Felix" coming onto the forum to sell his nor any others. I do believe their is a separate topic category for those that have things to sell. There is a line between a guy wanting to sell a piece of spare equipment and another running a commercial operation. It sure seems like you joined this club as a inexpensive way to advertise and sell your product. Since you must be great at having much success in finding so much gold in your concentrates, Why aren't you on these forums trying help the guys with some positive information about "how to do it" Show some pictures of what good "ore" or mineralized rocks will bring the most success. If you want to be respected as well as successful, you gotta first earn the respect. You say you "lost respect" for the guys here...but damn...I dont think you ever had it ... so how could you lose it?

If your business is legit and your membership was not paid for by a stolen identity credit card, which GPAA will have to determine, I want you to send a sample of your material to any established member of this forum, but I recommend it is sent to one of the heads of GPAA so they can evaluate it, but I seriously doubt this organization approves of spam selling and advertising which is what also brought attention of your immediate post and membership?
I am not a officer of GPAA but I have read the bylaws as a member, so please send your sample you want to advertise to them plus your request to advertise your product, I seriously doubt it can or should be advertised.

I checked out the website and what I seen and noticed right away....the rampant use of stock photos to create the website. I have seen enough of those in my day to know that the website itself is fake. The pictures of guys in suit's and a corporate look.....mining pictures....with heavy equipment.....Gee...do you think that we are that naïve? Show us real pictures of your mine.....cause anyone can buy flakes on the open market and salt bags of dirt. |

Rhett, Seriously give it a break. You are here like trying to push your company paydirt, reminds me of a family member trying to make money off his own family. Is business that bad that you have to come here and push your product to the members? Why not just take an advertisement out in the "prospectors" magazine and let people figure it out on their own. Myself, even if your product is better than any other, I get turned off by this approach that you are taking. And believe me, I can spot and read the story line before I even read the complete book.
