I sent a request in to Dominic, and have not heard from him yet (3 days, but I figure he is up at Cripple River getting ready for the season.)  Then sent it to the information email in contact us for GPAA.  2 working days and not even the consideration of a reply that we are looking into it.

I requested a couple of 10 x 10 or 12 x 12 inch decals/stickers of the logo (crossed pick and shovel and pan) if available or a vector file of it if not so my sign maker can make me 2 12 x 48 inch aluma-board signs for the side of my vehicle that will be towing a dredge float in a parade for the chapter here in 2 weeks.  These sign boards will then belong to the chapter for future events and uses.

I guess that info email goes straight to spam folder or the office just completely ignores it.  They want to build the association, they better learn to take care of the people they have first..

    Rant now over.

I think Dominic has been on vacation this week. I remember him posting how the office did not believe him when he said he was taking his vacation time. Took his son prospecting I believe. I have to tell you. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with the staff at GPAA. I call them every once in a while about some newbie silly question and they are always helpful.

Hi Arthur: I'd be glad to follow up on this Monday morning for you. I assure you the email does not go to the SPAM folder or get ignored.  We'll be in touch.

    Have a great weekend!

Tim-  yes, my experiences with staff have always been just great.  This was to get attention to help with this issue since I have now less than two weeks to get eveything made up for the parade and float.

    Nicole-  Thank you, much appreciated.

    Arthur,

If you would have called into the office, the staff would have let you know I was out on vacation all last week, and been happy to assist you. My email also had a auto responder on it letting you know as well. The "info" email was directed internally to someone that could help, but their priority is getting the brand new 2014/2015 GPAA Mining Guide through print and out to our members. They are currently off site and could not respond promptly - my apologies.

We are all happy to help, especially when you want to promote the organization, but we all have priorities that we are working on, therefore you must allow some time to get to all the requests we receive on a daily basis.

I have sent files to your email. Please send or post some pictures of the parade when you have a chance.

Thanks much.  Hope you had a good time out in the weeds, and look forward to a writeup in the mag later.

Appreciate the explanation and we are all good.  The email provided is for my boss and sign-maker, Just trying to cut out the middleman-me in this case.

    Again thanks much.----Art

**edit on 6-12**  He got it and did the layout for it yesterday, and I finished up the aluma-board as well.
