When I am not working, I am busy playing as I hope most of you are.  I use my cell phone for everything.  So my question is, is GPAA working on a mobile app or are they considering a mobile app?  I think most members will agree that a mobile app is a great idea so we can keep up on the latest information from almost anywhere.  What do the members think?

While I don't have or use a smart phone, (they are way smarter than I am), for those tat do, it could be a good thing.  Especially if the guide ever goes online with access to it strictly limited to members.  Then you can access directions and such in the field.

I would love to have an app, except that most of the places I go don't have cell reception even with virison

Yeah, I have noticed that most of the gold claims are "you can't hear me now" zones.

A mobile app would be an awesome step in the right direction for the GPAA. Once you download the app with claims guide you would not need cell service just turn on the phone and open the app. The only thing service would be needed for is updates, the forum, or other things requiring service, but the claims guide would already be downloaded and accessible from your download file.

I would even be thrilled if i could pull up a map on my desktop at home and then print the map out from there to take along to have a visual of the borders of claims. Or blow the map out so i could see all the claims ar once and then zoom in to what i want

I think an APP would be a great idea. I would like to get prospecting info on the phone.
