Well, have tried to do this "in house", but will now bring it here.  Have tried to contact the Chapter Director twice by email since the 27th of October, and the info email address for GPAA last Thursday.

    No response from either!

Our Chapter is making new banners and a sandwich board to use at our events, and at the Gold shows.  Trying to get sign-maker ready logos for both GPAA and LDMA to use on both.  We have events scheduled right after the first of the year, and need some lead time for our sign maker to do the work.

Really hoping this is not an example of the support the mother organization gives the Chapters, since they are constantly telling us to grow the association.  If we don't have the support, why bother?

    Hi Arthur,

Richard Robinson, our Director of Chapters should have reached out to you recently. Please call us next week (951-699-4749) during normal business hours if you still haven't received what you need.

    Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

    Paul

Thanks for  the reply.  Appreciate it.

Here we are on the 7th of Dec.  Filled out the request for permission to use the logos, and the diagram of what we are supposed to be making,  faxed back on the 27th of Nov., and still in limbo.

While I can appreciate the brand protection, it should not take 2 weeks to find someone to authorize and return the artwork.  My signmaker is waiting for this to get them made for us.

Getting to be a joke, and it is on the members who want to help grow the organization.  I'm just about to tell my claim partner I want nothing to do with it and pull the 2 claims we have listed.

The problem as I see it and have experienced is that the department heads can't make a unilateral decision without running it past Brandon first for his final decision, which can and will take a long time to make. The problem with the GPAA now as it is, Brandon is a micro manager who has to have the final say on everything. Why bother having department heads if they can't make any decisions on their own? All I can say is good luck!

Seems to be the case.  Amber called Brandon yesterday and got the approval to get going on the project.

Just have to send down a digital copy of the final design as ready to print for the final go ahead, Be interesting to see how soon that process will take.

I will give kudos to the staff though, they did manage to get through the hoops.

....good evening ....so this is where i can retract my previous statement ......since my last post... Winnemucca Prospectors has recieved multiple correspondences...information ...guidance ....and even the means to progress in the growth of this Chapter.

...Thank you all that have helped...all....it is an amazing feeling to see so many come together and help when "you really want it"......We've recieved all We've asked for..Thank You..........but as i trust you know ....when the "bug" is hungry....and those "hungry" are willing..........those "hungry bugs" can "shine".........so any continued support.....is appreciated and truly valued.

I met the Winnemucca chapter the year before last at the Rye patch gathering in Nevada and I must say they were very enthusiastic about being a part of the GPAA. I live closer to the Reno chapter which I believe I would really like to be a part of the Winnemucca chapter even though he live in Verdi Nevada so I'm reaching out to you. if you need any help get a hold of me my email address is beelombardi@gmail.com also I have a area in the GPAA website that I can be reached at Bernadette Lombardi
