Roy I hear what you are saying.  I have another year left on my GPAA and I live in Nevada.  However the claims they have here are not very good and as of this year they lost a few good ones.  I have my own claims that I work and the only reason I joined was to make a few friends and I am not a "club" guy.  But when it comes to cost versus what it's really worth I don't think I will renew next year.  FYI I spend my winters in S. Florida and the only thing I enjoy is metal detecting the beaches.     But I will reassess end of 2017.

I think with the right tools and understanding we COULD build the GPAA holdings quite a bit.  A bit of advertising might help as well...the looking for Land part at least.  People might have land that they don't even KNOW has gold on it or don't have the time or ability to pan but would like a monthly/yearly stipend to help with the bills.  Word of mouth with small groups would help loads especially in Ga. where Good Old Grandpappy's land has been in the family for X years...   Without knowing more on just what Bennies "we" offer I can't come up with any more ideas though.
