    Looking for member info on a few claims near boise, will be out that way in Oct for a business trip. thunderdog, boise gold, and his & his 1&2 claims are they still available for gpaa members? Actually any info and feedback would be great.

    Hey John,

    Try contacting any of the Idaho Chapters in the area as they would have first hand and most up to date info on the surrounding area.

    As of a couple months ago, The dirt road leading down to the creek at Thunderdog was blocked off. There is a little spot to park and walk down.... Didn't make it to Boise Gold, but His & His was very easy to get to and had some good gold! Lot's of trash if you're detecting but worth the effort Good luck!!

    Hi Greg,

    I am going to check out His & His this weekend 7Nov15.  It sounds like you were metal detecting?  I was going to give my new AT Gold a try out there and if you have any advice both from just panning to metal detecting I would love some advice.  I haven't had a very good year in terms of prospecting.
