I urge the GPAA to make its content library available for purchase through a streaming service like Amazon Prime.  Content consumption is quickly moving away from cable subscriptions to streaming services. Using streaming services as secondary channel of distribution for your library would retain the economics and make it available to a much wider audience.

Is this being considered or even feasible?  Does the GPAA own the Gold Fever content? Will the Outdoor Channel relationship allow for this?

    Hi Jamison,

That's a great idea and something we definitely have been considering. At the moment it's still complicated as far as how much of the Gold Fever library we own and what we can do with it. If more people are interested in this, even if it is subscription based, than we can make a stronger push to make it available.

Thanks again for the thoughts and comment, we'll be sure to keep you posted.

    Happy prospecting!

    Paul

    Paul,
Thank you for your reply. Please let the community know what the best way to express interest is.

Would any other members like to see GPAA content available outside the Outdoor Channel?

    Very best,

Same here. I would love that. I have canceled my cable like a lot of folks because they keep going up in price. I now get all content off local TV and the Internet.

    Hey guys,

Just found out we don't have the rights to Gold Fever until it goes off the air from Outdoor Channel. Kind of a Catch 22 considering, but we should be able to get more Prospecting America and Buzzard Series online as we sift through the archives.

Hope this helps and thank you for all the responses!
