I need help on trying to determine what kind of equipment I can use or convert to for 25 dump truck loads of sapphire ore I have access to. I would like to go through about 20 five gallon buckets per day. Any advice will be helpful.
Just to give you an idea of what I have already done, I used a screen to wash the material about two coffee cups at a time and it took me two days to go through 3 five gallon buckets.

Depending on the size of your rock you might be able to process some of it in a trommell, they make small ones that are usefull in the field. But your best bet would be to contact the chapter closest to you , they might be able to give you an ideal or two on how to handle it best ( if you are willing they might be able to help you classify it also)

First I need to know what you're trying to do here.  If you're going after the gems then I would classify it down to a workable size.  I know in my gold extraction the first thing I do is crush it to 50 to 100-. Then I remove all the magnetics, then I classify it and depending on whether it has sulfate or not I roast it to remove the sulphates.  Then I table it.  But like I said initally it all depends on what you're trying to do.  So if you can email me at hotdam49ers@gmail.com. That's the only way I can help you with some type of direction.
