This time of year is when I hit the books and study history and geology and if there is any open ground in the place of interest I have in mind but this year seems to be different in that I am seeing vast acreage gobbled up by large mining company's and I don't mean pretend miners selling claims on ebay. These are large miners mostly from Canada and they are claiming section after section amounting to thousands of acres in great proven areas of the past and present and are even gobbling up smaller claims that have belonged to individuals for generations. Do they know something we don't ? Tom

LARGE mining is probably hedging their bets they are betting Trump will cause the dollar to decline, causing gold to move up Trump appears to be friendly to coal, maybe gold wants to be his friend also the world seems to be moving toward the Chinese currency, away from the dollar our government seems to want to keep people off desert land by making national parks/monuments For the large miners, they have large capitol, large operations needed to mine microscopic gold and make a profit Gather it up before you cant Do they know something ? With the expectations of limiting EPA, NEPA and other red tape actions I think we can expect a lot of core drilling out there and the big boys and cumming juniors will be hedging in expectation of large mining being once again worth it in the US. This is great for the country and should take a lot of pressure of small mining from environmentalist.
