    Im totally a newbie at the gold game and I'm doing all I can to be prepared to prospect for gold but I feel I might need a friend to give advice or if close enough to my location go prospeting with im a year round prospector and dont think there is a limit to my ability to lern and work hard ... hope to here from anyone..... klamathfalls oregon!

    KMFS,

    First and foremost welcome to the club.

    There is so much information to gleen and learn right here at this site.
    There are also many other sites that have great people and information as well
    Being in California, I cant offer much help to you related to OR
    My recommendation to you would be to read all you can about gold and mining
    go to gold shows and check out equipment that you may use, learn how to use it
    Don't spend a lot of $$$ on equipments until you figure out what and how you will be mining
    Once you get out a few times and figure things out, things become old hand

    Above all else, get out there and enjoy the surroundings and the time you are able to spend out and about
