The last few days I've beed looking back over all the old forms and no one has talked about DetectorPro Nugget Buster headphones. Is anyone else using them? I've been using them for about 4 years now with my Goldbug 2 and wouldn't use anything else now. The set I have cost about $135.00 but now I know there worth it. I know the tools we use are only as good as the person using them but these headphone did help me out, maybe it was just luck but I wasn't finding any gold until I started using them. I just wanted to throw that out and see if anyone else has used them.

I got a pair last year and really like them, much better than the stock pair I had before.

    Gerold,
I have been using Nugget Busters and Gray Ghost since they came out. I just retired my old set of Nugget Busters for the new NDT. All of the DP phones are some of the best I have ever used in an affordable category.
I had a couple of issues in the past with cabling was all I ever complained about. Using mine now with a Wireless unit and planning on cutting down one of the NDT cables to a short lead into my receiver, tired of snagging cactus.

    Michael,
few choices out there. Minelab has the Pro Sonic and Garrett has the Z-Lynk which allows you to use your own headphones. Snake River Products just came out with a wireless system that include hcludes wireless headphones and a control unit about the size of a matchbook. I like all of them and I will leave it up to you to make a choce. And yes I own and use all of the ones I just mentioned.

I decided to go with the Snake River headphones. They seem quite easy to use. Ordered and may arrive next week.Dennis said to say hello!

edit: Got em!! Surprised they are so compact! And a nice carrying case. Happy-happy, joy-joy!
