I may have a suggestion for you to look at if you have not done so already. Before I joined up with the GPAA, I watched tons of youtube videos on gold panning techniques to equipment and of course how to look for gold in creeks, streams, and rivers. There are a lot of good folks out there who have good information, but the one that helps me out is askjeffwilliams his channel is an excellent source of information. The videos are step by step on what to do and what not to do. Hop on over and take a look. Oh, and the videos are entertaining as well.

    Dustin:

I spend my Saturdays up on my claim in Big Bear, I am usually there all day. Do you have equipment? I have Mini Max Power Sluice, Desert Fox Spiral bowl, Large Keene sluice, 2 1/2 inch dredge as well, (legally cannot use anymore) and Gold Monster Metal Detector. I have gone to several of the claims listed on here in So Ca, hope water still flowing , I know my claim is almost dry except for the retaining pound I have.

    Thanks
