I just picked up one the other day for my brother we haven't got it out yet , plan on using it this weekend. One thing I can tell you just from looking at it and going thru the manual it is very light in weight has a good feel to it, it can not be full submerged without the waterproof headphones. It has three programs in it one is Custom in which you set it to your own settings, coin, and zero which is all metal. I know some other guys will get on here with more info, If not you should go to find mall web site they have a lot of info for about any metal detector and they guys usually have already answered all the questions you might have already on the forum.

I have a Minleab Xterra 705 and I just purchased an AT Pro so I can search old swimming holes. I have been using it a lot. I really like both machines.

I have a AT Gold, and love it. It has paid for its self more than twice over. Very rugged and reliable!

OK, I finally took the plunge and ordered my AT Gold today. I am not looking for places to use it for prospecting in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Alabama.
