DD-214 is given on separation. A DD-215 is an update of Citations awarded after separation. The two go together.

Hi everyone, my second post here as I just joined the GPAA a few days ago (my first introduction post/YouTube channel is in the greenhorn section)..anyway thanks to all who serve/served. I'm a disabled veteran as well - I served 1997-2002, paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, needless to say my knees, leg, back all messed up. Good to see a lot of fellow veterans here. -Shane

We should get a Veterans Group going on here. Call it "Veteran Prospectors". That should really confuse the newcomers.

I can’t figure out how to make a post on here. So hopefully someone out there can help out. I’m looking for someone that fulltimes prospect in the Alaska area. I retire in November of 2018. And I wanna go full time prospecting. I have my on pans, sluice boxes and a dry washer.

Another Disabled VN vet. Work the Yosemite claims in winter when staying in Merced CA house. Any pan / MD want to work the claims ping me. Nice to have partners as climbing down boulders solo with no cell service can be a bit edgy. I now leave the claim info with my wife, just in case... TomEHowe@aol.com

Just joined GPAA and a greenhorn, but thought I'd chime in. Live in Marietta, GA and was in the USN from '79-'87. Glad to see a bunch of vets getting together, no matter where.

Hi Berry, I’m retireing in five years or so. I’m out here in Illinois. Maybe we could plan something for October November theme frame. My service dates were 1986-1990 and 2005-06 escaped unscathed. Rex Buhrmester Rex210_1999@yahoo.com
